Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java, Angular)
Join a leading technology division focused on data engineering, modelling, processing, visualization, and analytics. This role involves application development on robust, real-time enterprise-scale data systems and services using Java, Angular, and Python across various data platforms including MongoDB, Sybase, and Spark. You will work in a global, agile, collaborative environment, engaging directly with clients to set priorities and implement caching and messaging technologies.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain product data interfaces and infrastructure, focusing on stability for Listed Derivatives and Cash Equity flows and processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and manage overall deliverables.
- Work directly with users and business analysts in a global virtual team environment alongside teams from multiple global locations.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing SDLC methodologies like Agile to execute projects and sustain complex IT applications.
- Research solutions and overcome technical challenges as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, from a top-tier university.
- Strong foundation in software engineering of distributed systems using Java/J2EE as core technologies.
- Experience with RDBMS, batch processes, and application servers.
- Strong understanding of Java (Primary) and Python (Good to have).
- Knowledge of open-source frameworks: Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
- Good understanding of microservices-based architecture.
- Experience with database development, debugging, and design including stored procedures (Sybase and/or DB2).
- NoSQL experience, preferably MongoDB.
- Decent scripting knowledge (UNIX / Python).
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Skills Nice to Have:
- Experience in Cloud Native design including SPARK, Kafka.
- Experience with public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, Google).
- UI Frameworks knowledge.
